Whether I'm photographing a person, a still, or a landscape I see the end result as a complex collaboration of the arts, each piece mingled by subject matter, composition, and technique. There is rhythm in design, light stages tone and texture subject matter is the story.
Inspiration is a moment or a notion. The creative process is an exercise in growth ending in discovery.
Serendipitous or staged, inspiration comes from a subtle element in a second, shouting its connection to the other elements. That's what I wait for. That's the photograph.
