The [person] who is useful as an artist is one who studies
his own life and records his experiences.

PHOTOGRAPHY

"Photography is capable of capturing multiple expression within one medium. There is rhythm in composition and design. Changing light is a performance that is never the same, and while words can describe such a visual encounter, a photograph is a rendering of those words."

Palma is a photographic artist with a studio in Frederick, Maryland. In addition to making fine art work, she licenses imagery to publishers, graphic artists, and photo libraries..

Her work is exhibited at The Artists' Gallery in Frederick, MD and at Antresian Gallery, Baltimore, MD.

At dusk, just over the hillside stand
two friends facing west. The setting sun brightens a few clouds on the horizon, feathered enough to consider their
journey interesting; a texture that
challenges their wits.

The jet stream is behind them.
The westward slope seems gentle,
easy, and trusting enough to scrape
up a little trail but not so steep as to
render dangerous or unrealistic....
