To me, the elements of a successful photograph incorporates all the arts, which is something I strive for and find joyfully challenging.
Palma is a largely self taught, versatile photographer with a background in music and art, a BS in Interdisciplinary Art and education, and a certificate in computer graphics.
Beginnings in the darkroom lead to photojournalism, events, portraits and commercial work. Since 1995 she has been licensing imagery to graphic artists, editors, and through stock photo agencies. She has worked with alternative, traditional and digital photography methods.
Her recent work is from a personal perspective, including landscapes and portrait work.
